The Leap from HTML to WordPress
Having been a client of ours since 2001, Shannon Munford of Daybreak, finally decided to convert his HTML website to WordPress.
Our previous work with Shannon involved maintaining and fixing his HTML site and his WordPress blog. But it took a little time for him to realize that he could fully control his entire website, without the use of Dreamweaver, if he used WordPress as a CMS for his business site, and not simply the blog.
Course Registration Made Easy
Our design team created a custom WordPress design for Daybreak, and used the opportunity to add some much needed features to the site, including an “Ask Shannon” WordPress questionnaire option. The questionnaire allows visitors to ask questions anonymously, and for his team to answer those in their WordPress blog.
We also added an SEO Event Calendar with Google Mapping, and links to all of their anger management YouTube videos.
The next step in the project was to convert their existing client registration system to WordPress.
Now, site visitors can:
- find anger management classes, and
- register for anger management classes using PayPal or Credit Card for payment.
And Daybreak counselors and employees can:
- add course registrations manually, and
- edit and manage course registrations quickly and efficiently – completely online.
Who would have thought that all of this was possible in converting HTML to WordPress?
Well, we did, of course!
