Managing Apartments & Tenants
The thought of using WordPress for Apartment Management seemed like a great idea, so when our design team was contacted by Magnus Realty Group to create a custom WordPress theme for their apartment management group, we jumped at the chance.
We were presented with a PSD design to convert to WordPress, so we had an idea of what WordPress features were necessary, and we were able to add a few features of our own. In addition to adding and managing properties, this gave us the opportunity to add a few features for tenants as well.
Custom Post Types for Apartments & Features
Managing home and apartment rentals with WordPress wouldn’t be complete without RSS Feeds and custom fields for all of the different apartment features. Once we converted the PSD to WordPress, we then began adding in Custom Post Types and Fields to assist with managing rentals in WordPress. Magnus Realty Group is now able to add the property rentals that they manage using the custom WordPress Theme. And they’re able to add unlimited rentals and features on the fly!
A few of the Property Management features we added are:
- Search for Apartments by City, Number of Beds, Number of Baths, and Apartment Type
- Apartment Rental Application Download
- Tenant Portal & Information Page
- Owner Portal & Information Page
Managing a WordPress site is easy, and it should be just as easy to manage properties and provide tenants with the important information that they need.
